CEBU!! I'm on my way home actually!! Waiting for the shuttle to bring us to the airport!! This is actually my first time in Cebu - and may I just say - the people are so friendly! Taxi drivers (we've met) are honest and very helpful!! The city looks promising - very cosmopolitan! I have a few complaints (hahaha!!) 1) The Rustan's rep names Pinky Gabutan - well, she's such a lazy person!! I was asking for my friend's bridal registry list and she pointed out to a group of buyers trying to look for their gifts as well. When I asked her if she has another list she replied 'Mam, it'll take time because we need to print out the list pa ulit' to which I retorted 'Of course!' My friend noticed that she wasn't happy with my reply. And then she spoke Cebuano to her staff and in an instant - the list was in our hands! The list was OH MY GOSH! Out of the 35 items on the list - 20% of which were OUT OF STOCK!! What the hell right?! So we were

Questionable officiating..

Image borrowed from THIS site Worst officiating EVER!! I never realized that there was a campaign with Ateneo winning this year- but man, officiating was really bad! Really really really beyond bad!! For the record let me say that - I believe that Ateneo deserves to win the championship mainly because they played really great this whole season. They were consistent and every member of the team helped win the games - there was a team effort. Hats off to Chris Tiu, Rabeh, Eric Salamat, Buenafe and Jai Reyes - these guys are really really really good. But to win because of bad officiating? That's a different story. I for one am a die-hard DLSU fan. Call me bitter, a sore-loser or whatever - I don't care! I surmised the game wasn't played fair. Not at all. There were dubious calls - calls that were made during the crucial moments, when it mattered the most. It mattered the most because it destroyed the momentum. The refs literally killed La Salle's momentum the w

See you at the Araneta!!

Image borrowed from THIS site Yes!! We scored tickets!! Looooooooooooove it!! :) See you at the game!! :) Will try to update thru Plurk and Twitter ! :) Animo La Salle!! :)

Today is THE day...

Pic grabbed from THIS site Are we going to win? Can we do it? I think we can.. Can we do a miracle? I'm very hopeful! Today's THE day.. I'm still crossing my fingers (please cross yours too! - for me!) that we be given tickets.. I was told by my good friend that he's being offered Upper A tickets for Php1,500.00 each! Whoa?! Ticket selling has gone bonkers!! But mind you, Araneta is NOT selling SRO tickets for Upper A and B!! Quite silly actually - I mean Araneta can make more money! But I admire his stand of not selling additional tickets for the scalpers to have a hay day and the fans suffering! Whatever happens today - I will ALWAYS be proud to be a La Sallian. Forever! Animo La Salle!! :)

Is she really Mother?

Borrowed from THIS site Is she really Mother?? Hmmm... How I wish it was Alicia Silverstone!! Argh.... But it was nice seeing them together!! Super excited to watch the new season's epi.. I just have to say... It would have been nice for Barney Stinson to receive this year's Emmy.

Bangkok, here I come!!

Pic was borrowed from this site I'm leaving tonight!! Just hope that the flight's on-time!! :) We booked the flight last May during Cebu Pacific's ZERO Fare promo! So happy to finally be going - again!! :) I am so excited with Thai food!! :) My Bangkok 2007 trip recap: Day 1 , Day 2 , Day 3

Heartache..

My Jacob-bee! Yesterday, we decided to have our dog Jacob - neutered. And this morning - we had him neutered. I left him with the vet and he was shaking like crazy! I think he knew somehow that something was going to happen to him. I had to hug him tight when the vet injected anesthesia and some other medicine. I was really worried. When the vet sent me a text message that the procedure was done and we asked the driver to pick Jacob up. When the driver brought Jacob to me, I was near tears. I saw the stitches - I saw Jacobs eyes and I knew he was in pain! I couldn't explain what I felt, I felt sad and hurt and heartbroken. The vet I think had some sort of sixth sense because he sent me a text message assuring me that what we did was for the best of Jacob. At least he won't get psychotic when the girls (doggies) are in heat! Imagine Jacob not eating for days - 6 times a year!! Poor Jacob.. He's asleep now - I have to wake him up at 4 in the afternoon to give him the

Guam Part 2!

Sorry for the looooong delay!! But here's the round-up of my Guam Trip!! (I apologize for the loooooong post!!) Pictures I missed in Part 1 : Plane Food: I hate them!! Mine was Chicken My Twin had the Fish. . This is what welcomed us... Hahaha!! The Bong display case... Go figure!! The crappy Grand Plaza Hotel. Anyhoo - we switched hotels! Yes , because of the crappy service we got from Grand Plaza Hotel ! Can you believe that they don't have AC in the hallways? Their ice machine in all 4 floors are busted - so are their drink vending machines!! Waaaaaaaaaah!! (As of the moment, the guanrantee charged to my credit card - has not yet been released! Argh..! It's been weeks already AND I have been emailing them time and again to remind them to release - they answer 2 days after I email saying they've done all the could - whatever!!) We stayed in a waaaaaaaaay better hotel - a bit more expensive but worth every penny! Fiesta Guam Resort was great! The location was
