Eduplay School Manila's new home!

Eduplay School Manila has moved to a new home. And it's nearby the old location - just a few meters away. I was so impressed to see the open parking lot in the front.  I was honestly wondering months ago how they will transform this new place. And boy was I impressed.  The layout is PERFECT!  And as usual, I give my thumbs up in cleanliness, very good use of space and the size.  It's really a joy to see the new place.  I must say, this new place they found is really meant to be for them. Congratulations to everyone in EduPlay! I loved that they tore down the wall and opened it up for parking! I'm really loving the vibe of Eduplay's new home! The iconic blue wall! I will miss seeing this everyday... Below are just a few of the classrooms they have.  Loving the space, the colors of the walls and the set-up.  Feeling nostalgic on the cubbies. I love how the house was transformed into something very functional. ...

Connor & EduPlay School Manila

I must confess that with Connor.  I was not as *tutok* when it came to his learnings.  I let him enjoy play and even if he didn't sight read his letter and numbers - I was just so relaxed.  Hahaha!  It was only last year that I felt that he was a bit behind because his peers (kids of my friends) were already in pre-school.  I honestly felt a bit pressured but I trusted my decision to let him enter school only this year. I've heard and seen a lot of kids crying when they entered school.  I didn't want Connor to experience that I didn't want to go through the stress of having to force them and the emotional upheaval I will be feeling with his refusal (if ever) to go to school. Last year, I decided to put Kailee in EduPlay and it has to be the BEST decision in my daughter's educational path.  I am very happy with the outcome and I am proud of what Kailee has become with the molding and guiding of her teachers in EduPlay.  Read about why I cho...

EduPlay School Manila

Last week, I got Kailee's entrance test results from ICA.  She got in!  Yehey!  I knew she would be accepted BUT I still felt nervous.  I never expected to feel that way.  Hahaha!  First time parent, I guess.  I give credit to her teachers in EduPlay School Manila.  Since Kailee started in June, she has learned so much already and she had matured and developed in so many ways.  Everyday, I am in awe of what new thing she has learned.  I feel pride and joy whenever she tells me what new thing she learned that day.  You can see it in her eyes how much she enjoys going to school everyday.  Take note, she wakes up by herself!  We've only have two incidents of her refusing to wake up to go to school and that was just in the first month!  She really enjoys her school, I mean really enjoys school. I've written about out trial class in EduPlay last year .  Being there, seeing the teachers in action solidified my ...

Kailee's trial class at EduPlay Manila

For a while now, I have been in denial that my little girl is growing up.  Case in point - my hesitance in letting her go to pre-school.  One of the main factors is that I feel that she can still play at home - and she's just 3 years old.  I know for a fact now, parents send their kids to preschool as early as 1.5 years old!  I totally respect that decision of the parents - but well, it's just not me.  As they say, walang basagan ng trip so I just keep this opinion to myself.  We're all different parents anyway - and there is no one perfect parent, right? I remember that I went to preschool only because it was a requirement in ICA, my mom says.  It's still a requirement until now - but when you count the acceptance age of big schools now - they've moved another year up because of the K-12.  So that got me and my improved mathematical skills to compute what age/year, Kailee should attend pre-school - below is my rough analysis derived from the...
