I have loved this show ever since I first saw it on cable.  In a foreign channel to be exact, I think it was a Taiwan channel.  I remember that I was in 2nd year in HS when I first caught a glimpse of it, and by chance - I mentioned it to a classmate and it turns out, she knows about the show too!  Jill Krystle Chua - wherever you are in the world, know that I will forever be grateful for that conversation we had in the classroom about Friends! To those who have been following me since I started, I'm sure you've read my posts pertaining to FRIENDS.  I think I have a handful of them.  It was through this show, that I met friends who had the same thoughts on Friends - that it was real.  We reference the show in real life.  I used to think that it was only my brother and I who did that, but as it turns out - many of us fans do that too!  Its really funny and cute when you think about it.  Hahaha!!  I know it's been years since they last...

I thought this topic would be easy but it isn't! I mean to pick just 5 episodes out of the 10 seasons? Hmmm.... So how about this - my favorite episodes in random order. 1)  The One with the Emryos This has got to be one of my favorites.  I loved the competition between the girls and the guys, what I loved more were the questions formulated by Ross!  You know, watching this episode over and over again - makes me wonder, since there were questions in all catergories that were not picked - what questions were they??!! My favorite question was 'What is Chandler Bing's job?'  Hahahaha!! 2) The One with the Proposal I never thought that Chandler would ever want to get married, and so this is one of my favorites because it made me cry!  Monica proposed to Chandler! On my recent hosting for Team Carnival - a lot, I mean a lot mentioned that Friends is one of their favorite shows. Here's a thought! Of all nine seasons of FRIENDS, which is your FAVORITE episode? I know its tough - to just mention one episode, so how about making it a Top 5 or a Top 10? Everyone knows that I sooooo enjoy watching the tv show FRIENDS.  This brought about the topic that I am hosting this week!  image borrowed from google images Online friendships! I used to laugh at the idea of meeting friends online.  While in HS when most of my friends were busy chatting at IRC chatrooms and having eyeballs - I had a boyfriend, thus I never understood the fascination with chatting and getting to know a person without physically being with them. A few years later - I learned how to chat, to surf the net, join forums and to blog. As I joined forums, I met people online.  These people - to be honest, I have no clue about.  I only knew them with their nicknames and their activities online.  Somehow - seeing their comments and opinions on certain topics, showed me that if ever we met, we can be good friends.  This is where I realized - online friendships can actually  work! (L-R) MM, A, moi!, K what poses right?! This is us - the Beijing Chickens. Our friend MM will be heading to Shang-Hai next week for a 7 week training courtesy of Citibank. Since she'll be gone for a while - K decided to have a cookfest that originally tagged her and B - MM' s fiance (who is now taking cooking classes) to whip up some dishes for us! But as it turns out - K was the only one who did everything! We had this super delish garlic dip and a very yummy Cheesy Chicken Casserole!! (I even took home the left over sauce!! Haha..) After dinner - us girls went to the den to watch a little TV and did some catching up (even if we saw one another at Vic's wedding - the funniest wedding ever!! ) When our respective boys arrived - we then proceeded to play Taboo . I learned Taboo from KY - she brought this game along when we went to Bagiuo some 9 years ago (has it been that long?!?!?!) And ever since - I've been loving this game and also kicking some good ass win...

I know it's not just me - but I think I can safely say that there are a lot of people who miss watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and secretly hope that they get back together and continue where they left off. I know I'm not alone when I say that I quote dialogues from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. - and that when I tell some of mine - they either look at me like I'm crazy - or look at me and agree with me. I really miss the whole Central Perk gang. A few months ago, I came across something on the internet it was a rumor that F.R.I.E.N.D.S. creator David Crane is cooking up a new show that is similar to F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I searched and searched until I found this show - last month. You wouldn't know how happy I was when I learned that the rumor was really true. I had a great time tonight dinning at Chilis with Ches, Mark and the whole BLCU 2002 1st sem gang - Kath, Denz, May May, Brian, Althia, Bang, Mark, and myself. Ches and Mark became the guests of honor because they're here for the holidays. Mark works for URC in Shang-Hai, while Ches was in Shang-Hai for studies. Had fun you guys!! Ches - If there's a U2 concert, I'm sure to visit you ins Sing! FINALLY !! After gruelling emails and text messages, we finally got to meet up to celebrate Christmas ON TIME (since graduation). It has been 4 YEARS , since I last saw this friend of mine. We've been sending her emails, calling her - but no answer. Then OUT OF THE BLUE : She adds me to her friendster account!! It's been YEARS since I last saw and heard from Sandra Toh. If I remember correctly the last time I saw her was during High School graduation! Then recently maybe a month or two ago, I saw her at Chili's! I've heard that she was getting married late this year, and common friends have been telling me that she looks 'blooming' and at the same time she's so in love.
