On & Off again Colds & Cough

For the past three months, I have been battling colds and cough.  It has come and gone.  I was well for a week and then something happens and I get sick again.  It has gone far too long that's why I decided to consult a doctor.  I am one who avoids going to the doctor.  The only time I went religiously was when I was pregnant with Kailee and Connor, but those other times that I was sick - I self medicated because I knew what drugs are most effective for me.  I HATE going to a doctor - I hate the wait,  I hate they they're almost always late, I hate that their consultation fee is expensive, I hate that they're just *guessing* what you have based on your symptoms, plus - I hate going to hospital clinics - its so effing depressing. A few months ago, I was invited to see QualiMed in PGH.  I wrote about how I was impressed with their facilities and their work standards .  During the tour, I learned that they have a branch in Trinoma.  Lucky...

DIDI'scoveries: Netipot by Sinucleanse

Ever since I got pregnant with Kailee, I've had sever allergies.  And it never went away.  Everyday, I would sneeze and blow my nose.  My helpers think I have all year round colds - and I honestly thought it was too!  Until, I was diagnosed with allergies.  I would drink allergy medicines, but they will just be effective for a while.  I've accepted the fact that I would have this my whole life. One of the things that has helped me get through my allergies is the constant cleaning and vacuuming of the common rooms in the house.  I would require my helper to vacuum the common areas twice a week at least. And then I researched online, and found Netipot.  It seemed really strange to be honest, but then a lot of people swear by it.  I have friends who have told me that it has worked for them and their allergies were managed and some even say it cured their allergies.  I was very willing to try it out - but the problem was, it wasn't av...

Allergy Scare

I remember when I was younger, an allergy attack was one of the things I feared the most because I didn't know when it will happen.  I always had about 2 pieces of allergy medicine (celestamine) in my wallet, just in case it happens.  Thankfully, I never had an allergy attack when I was out of the house. Last night, we had an allergy scare.  After dinner, I noticed Kailee scratching her tummy while we were watching Agent Oso on TV.  She was scratching and scratching - I then noticed that her tummy had a LOT of rashes.  I assumed that this was her normal rashes (Kailee has skin asthma/eczema so rashes were a norm to us once in a while) and since we were on maintenance antihistamine - I instructed Yaya to give her an early dose of it.  After giving Kailee the antihistamine, I left the room and took a bath.  When I came back, I was surprised to see that the rashes has spread to her face and legs!  These rashes were big red patches and they were spr...
