Shopping at Chicify!

I have said it before and I will say it again.  I find shopping for clothes a chore.  Seriously.  I really dislike it.  I can shop for others, but I can't for the life of me, shop for my own self.  I can't explain why but when it comes to shopping for myself - I always dismiss it.  When I travel, the first thing I think of shopping for are my kids.  I'm at the bottom of my list, every single time - and I don't mind really.  It's just that when I get back home and unpack, I can't help but feel kinda disappointed but then it's my fault, really. I'm also lazy - I honestly need someone to *push* me to try on clothes.  I don't have an eye for style nor fashion.  I mean, I admire stylish people, but then I've come to realize that since I don't have the ideal body type, there's no reason for me to dress stylish.  I've become too comfortable in what I've been wearing for the past years.  I belong to the awkward stage of having the bo...

Mercato Centrale at BGC

I first learned of Mercato Central from the tweets of RJ Ledesma and Anton Diaz.  I honestly, did not know what it was about.  When I read a tweet about it, that it was a weekend market that was open from 7am until 4pm, I was curious!  I immediately told my Panget about it, and he said that he wanted to drop by and see what it was. Later that night, I saw in the news that Mercato Centrale was air-conditioned!  Waaaaay cool!!  I mean, I've been to a couple of weekend markets and when I start walking through the stalls, I'd be perspiring like crazy!  I knew to always bring a fan with me, but it wasn't enough. Last Saturday night, my Panget told me that he'll think about going to Mercato Centrale the next day.  But before he could tell me, I fell asleep already.  I actually woke up early the next day, but since I didn't get any signal from my Panget that he wanted to visit Mercato - I thought to myself 'you can go back to sleep'.  But...

H&M Mama

I knew there was a maternity line at H&M. I was so glad that there was because when I went to Hong Kong last July - this was all I could think about!  I was so excited to go shopping.  Unfortunately, the items were not as vast as if it were the non-maternity.  Styles were limited BUT the variety was good enough.  I wished there were more but hey, I can't complain. Last week, I went to Seoul - I had no idea if Seoul had an H&M, I was honestly clueless!  But while walking in Myeongdong - I saw Koreans holding bags of H&M - this made me a little excited, because it may mean that there is an H&M store in Seoul!  And true enough after a few steps, I saw it!  I went inside and walked around looking for the maternity line - and I saw none.  Sigh. So when I got back to the hotel - I searched online and found a blog entry that mentioned that there was indeed an H&M Mama line in one of the Myeongdong stores.  Good thing, my Pa...

Sorry for the looooong delay!! But here's the round-up of my Guam Trip!! (I apologize for the loooooong post!!) Pictures I missed in Part 1 : Plane Food: I hate them!! Mine was Chicken My Twin had the Fish. . This is what welcomed us... Hahaha!! The Bong display case... Go figure!! The crappy Grand Plaza Hotel. Anyhoo - we switched hotels! Yes , because of the crappy service we got from Grand Plaza Hotel ! Can you believe that they don't have AC in the hallways? Their ice machine in all 4 floors are busted - so are their drink vending machines!! Waaaaaaaaaah!! (As of the moment, the guanrantee charged to my credit card - has not yet been released! Argh..! It's been weeks already AND I have been emailing them time and again to remind them to release - they answer 2 days after I email saying they've done all the could - whatever!!) We stayed in a waaaaaaaaay better hotel - a bit more expensive but worth every penny! Fiesta Guam Resort was great! The location was ...

Shopping in Guam

While walking around K-Mart - I was asking myself - did I need anything? Nothing popped! Hahaha.. Until I realized - that I was in a US territory, meaning most American goods that I always ask my Panget's brother to buy MUST be here somewhere. Right there and then, things I wanted started to come of my head! I searched for the following items first: - Caladryl Clear - Creme Bleach - Carmex - Vick's Vapor Rub (Made in Mexico - my Aunt, specified this!) - Efferdent Denture Cleansers (my Aunt's) - Pepcid AC Maximum Strength - Lip Balms - DIY Highlights Kit - Pentel RSVP Pen Set - Secret Deodorant in Vanilla - And some other unique stuffs! Hahaha... So, did I get all of them? Hahaha! I did - except for the Carmex - apparently, the K-Mart Guam does not carry Carmex! Hmmm.. Strange, but what can I do right? Let the pictures do the talking... Shopping in Guam can be C.R.A.Z.Y. !! Think about this - a street that has 2 LV stores, 2 Gucci stores, 2 Bottega Venneta stores, 2 Prada s...
