My Panget looooves hotpot themed restaurants, even if he says that its a waste of time since you practically cook the food yourself.  He loves it because he just sits and eats.  I am the one who cooks for him.  He just tells me which food he wants and I will just get it for him and cook.  Lucky guy, right?  ( Please feel free to tell him that when you see him! ) I have been seeing feeds of Four Seasons Hot Pot city since February, it's the distance that makes me think twice.  We're at the opposite ends of EDSA.  It's quite a travel to be honest, but two weeks ago - an opportunity presented itself and the timing was super perfect!  We were already scheduled to be in Makati during the morning so after this Makati thing, we went straight to Four Seasons Hot Pot City at SM by the bay! I used to love buffets.  Ask my Panget.  We both loved going to one.  But then through the years, the quality of food in the buffets have declined and so we stopped.  Last year, I was introduced to Vikings Luxury Buffet and my buffet experience has never been the same, ever. Last week, my family and I tried the newly opened Vikings in SM Jazz Mall.  I happened to be in Makati and my favorite aunt was craving for Vikings - she actually wanted us to go to The Block!  She was so happy and thrilled that there's a branch on her turf - SM Jazz Mall. On all weekends of August - Vikins Luxury Buffet is treating its patrons with more food!  The theme this month is South East Asian Street Food. Here is what they have in store for us!! Laksa fans, REJOICE!  Imagine having unlimited Laksa! I am a huge, HUGE fan of Indian food!  I was so happy that they offered this! Love the rotis, papadums, and dips!  Yummeh!!

There used to be a time where buffets was the in thing.  Hotels were offering 50% discounts for their privilege card holders, it was such a success that I think a lot followed suit.  One of them was Vikings. I first heard of Vikings last 2011 - their maiden branch was in SM MOA, and friends have been telling me how massive the selection is - that it was comparable to Sofitel's Spirals buffet.  Over the years, I never got the chance to sample their food. Last April 9, I was finally able to experience Vikings at its newest branch in Megamall's newest wing the Fashion Hall. It was my first time and it was MASSIVE.
