Pria's Kitchen: A la Carte on Demand!

I honestly don't remember where I first encountered Pria's Kitchen, but I do remember that I followed her on Instagram.  I then asked Pria to email me her menu - I kept it in preparation for our New Year's Eve dinner last year. It was only last Saturday night when we celebrated early Father's Day with my in laws did we push through with the order.  My SIL was the one who decided on the menu and did the ordering.  I was very excited to be honest - because seeing Pria's IG feeds, made me salivate every singel time!! So here are what we got: Paella Valencia This is one of the BEST paella that I've ever tasted.  It's moist, full of flavor (as you can see the prawn, mussels, chicken, chorizo and pork pieces!  They're huge!) and really delicious.  I was impressed when I saw it since I saw the big pieces you can really taste the toppings and there's more for everyone.  What I liked most about this paella was that the ingredients were not scri...

EATs London: Burger and Lobster SoHo

My SIL (Sister In Law) told me that her friend recommended that we eat at Burger and Lobster.  I researched and found a branch near our place, but the it didn't have reservations.  Since I was with my in laws, my daughter and my pregnant SIL - I looked at another branch that was willing to take reservations.  I saw that Burger and Lobster SoHo accepted reservations during lunch and dinner for parites that are more than 5.  Perfect!  So I sent them an email. I had to send them another email because my first email didn't go through.  I corresponded with Alan and he was really nice and funny.  They had two lunch seatings - one is 12:30 - 2:30 and another is 2:30 - 4:30.  We only had 2 hours to gobble up everything we ordered, that's their condition with reservations.  I thought 2 hours were good enough, so I booked the 12:30.  I was also told that they only gave 15minutes waiting time, or they'll give away my table if a walk-in party of...

JAM Foods ANGUS Tapa

I am very fond of Pinoy breakfast fare.  I don't mind having them for lunch and dinner!  That's why I love restaurants that serve all day breakfasts!  Hahaha..  It wasn't so long ago that I became a breakfast person.  I distinctly remember when I was still in ICA that I refused to eat breakfast, I just didn't!  It was only when I got pregnant that I started to eat breakfast - because I would get really hungry - and that was the start. I used to not like waking up in the morning too!  But when I got pregnant, I had no choice - I'd be wide awake by 7am!  And so I used that time to relax and do what I like - and that is to eat!  Hahaha.. Last December, I was one of Jane's Christmas Angels.  We were gifted with a pack of JAM Foods Angus Tapa to take home.  I met the very warm and lovely Michelle Cu-Unjieng who's husband Chef John is the chef behind Jam Foods.  I remember the first time I encountered Jam Foods - it was in Mercat...

Osaka Diaries: Matsusakagyu Yakiniku M Restaurant

I want to be honest.  I've only eaten Wagyu beef ONCE.  Yes, only ONCE - and it was never repeated - why?  Because it was too darn expensive.  When I went to Tokyo last year, it never dawned on me to have a Wagyu meal.  It was only when I got back to Manila, that I realized - I was already in Japan, it was semi stupid of me not to remember!  Well, I blame the epidurals that I've had!  Haha.. So last week, we were in Osaka.  A friend of mine had told me to try this place called Matsusakagyu Yakiniku M Restaurant .  She said it wasn't to be missed.  A few days after, I get a text message from my Panget informing me that we should also have a meal at that particular restaurant.  Apparently, one of his basketball friends recommended it too.  Then a few days before we left, I saw on my wedding photog's FB feed that he went there too.  I messaged him and he also HIGHLY recommended that we eat there. I called Kuni-San lat...
