It's Friday again!!

I heart Fridays! I always look forward to Fridays! For some strange reason - one them is because of 89.8's Friday Magic Madness (thanks to my Panget's 'era'). I love listening to OPMs especially those sung by Gary Valenciano - pre Born Again era, I think I've written about this a few posts ago. I can't help but smile and be giddy when I hear his songs over the radio. Like what my friend Jen said 'Panalo siguro, if we watched a Gary V. Concert' - Yes, I think panalong- panalo nga.

The title of the song I was listening to was 'Wag mo na sanag Isipin' and here's the lyrics. It's so funny!! and True!! hahaha..

    Hmm, if only I knew you're a great fan! I do usually get complimentary tickets or invitation to his concerts for some reasons but I had to give it away most of the time. Anyway, there's always a next time! :)

#CookingQuest: Winter Melon Soup ala Didi #EnhancedCommunity

One of the things that gets ooohs and aaaahs in a chinese restaurant is the #WinterMelonSoup.   You may ask why?  Well because with this soup, restaurants use the winter melon itself as a huge bowl to serve the soup!  It's a sight to see as you'll be amazed how they were able to pull it off.  You'll see the whole winter melon, and then suddenly they're take out the top part and when you peek in, the soup is inside together with meat bits and other veggies!  My mom has tried it at home, and I remember her being nervous that the winter melon doesn't break apart, kunde sira ang presentation! So during this #EnhancedCommunityQuarantine, I chanced upon Theo's Farm that they have winter melon, so I ordered.  When I saw it - I knew I wouldn't be able to pull off the carving and serving the winter melon.  It actually made the preparation easier.  I had to ask my mom, and she told me to steam the winter melon to soften it.  Honestly, I don't t...

Shopping in Guam

While walking around K-Mart - I was asking myself - did I need anything? Nothing popped! Hahaha.. Until I realized - that I was in a US territory, meaning most American goods that I always ask my Panget's brother to buy MUST be here somewhere. Right there and then, things I wanted started to come of my head! I searched for the following items first: - Caladryl Clear - Creme Bleach - Carmex - Vick's Vapor Rub (Made in Mexico - my Aunt, specified this!) - Efferdent Denture Cleansers (my Aunt's) - Pepcid AC Maximum Strength - Lip Balms - DIY Highlights Kit - Pentel RSVP Pen Set - Secret Deodorant in Vanilla - And some other unique stuffs! Hahaha... So, did I get all of them? Hahaha! I did - except for the Carmex - apparently, the K-Mart Guam does not carry Carmex! Hmmm.. Strange, but what can I do right?
