It's FRIDAY again!

The weekend is finally here! Not that it was a long wait. Lately, I've been noticing that times flies so fast! It was as if it was just Monday yesterday, and now - it's already Friday!

Since I've become an avid listener to Magic 89.9's Friday Magic Madness - I forgot all about the nice songs the APO Hiking Society have been singing! It makes me smile so wide when I hear old OPM songs - and I don't know why! Why don't they make songs as nice a before?

I've long appreciated New Wave songs - but it was my Panget's era selection that made me hooked on it. His iPod is FULL of 80's songs - I mean FULL of it! So whenever we go out - I am forced to listen to them. Some songs - I've never even heard of before!! Hahahaha.. :)

Sharing is caring, so we can't keep it a secret any longer.  THIS is where we get out groceries!  Well, Anson Supermarket has been where we have been purchasing all of our kids' diapers!  From Kailee to Connor to Shobe!  Yes, yes, yes! #CookingQuest: Winter Melon Soup ala Didi #EnhancedCommunity

One of the things that gets ooohs and aaaahs in a chinese restaurant is the #WinterMelonSoup.   You may ask why?  Well because with this soup, restaurants use the winter melon itself as a huge bowl to serve the soup!  It's a sight to see as you'll be amazed how they were able to pull it off.  You'll see the whole winter melon, and then suddenly they're take out the top part and when you peek in, the soup is inside together with meat bits and other veggies!  My mom has tried it at home, and I remember her being nervous that the winter melon doesn't break apart, kunde sira ang presentation! So during this #EnhancedCommunityQuarantine, I chanced upon Theo's Farm that they have winter melon, so I ordered.  When I saw it - I knew I wouldn't be able to pull off the carving and serving the winter melon.  It actually made the preparation easier.  I had to ask my mom, and she told me to steam the winter melon to soften it.  Honestly, I don't t...

Shopping in Guam

While walking around K-Mart - I was asking myself - did I need anything? Nothing popped! Hahaha.. Until I realized - that I was in a US territory, meaning most American goods that I always ask my Panget's brother to buy MUST be here somewhere. Right there and then, things I wanted started to come of my head! I searched for the following items first: - Caladryl Clear - Creme Bleach - Carmex - Vick's Vapor Rub (Made in Mexico - my Aunt, specified this!) - Efferdent Denture Cleansers (my Aunt's) - Pepcid AC Maximum Strength - Lip Balms - DIY Highlights Kit - Pentel RSVP Pen Set - Secret Deodorant in Vanilla - And some other unique stuffs! Hahaha... So, did I get all of them? Hahaha! I did - except for the Carmex - apparently, the K-Mart Guam does not carry Carmex! Hmmm.. Strange, but what can I do right?
