 I first learned of Mercato Central from the tweets of RJ Ledesma and Anton Diaz.  I honestly, did not know what it was about.  When I read a tweet about it, that it was a weekend market that was open from 7am until 4pm, I was curious!  I immediately told my Panget about it, and he said that he wanted to drop by and see what it was. Later that night, I saw in the news that Mercato Centrale was air-conditioned!  Waaaaay cool!!  I mean, I've been to a couple of weekend markets and when I start walking through the stalls, I'd be perspiring like crazy!  I knew to always bring a fan with me, but it wasn't enough. Last Saturday night, my Panget told me that he'll think about going to Mercato Centrale the next day.  But before he could tell me, I fell asleep already.  I actually woke up early the next day, but since I didn't get any signal from my Panget that he wanted to visit Mercato - I thought to myself 'you can go back to sleep'.  But after a while, I hea

Last Sunday, my Panget and I had a very late merienda slash super early dinner at Pepper Lunch in Rockwell.  It was my choice because I have been craving for Pepper Lunch since three months ago! So I was really excited to finally have my Beef Pepper Rice! My excitement dropped and I was really disappointed because this was what was served me: It looked like my Beef Pepper Rice was nalugi :(  It had just a few beef on it!  I remember those Beef Pepper Rice I've had in the past vividly and they had more than enough beef on them - this one looked super kawawa, thus - I dubbed it My kawawang Beef Pepper Rice . My Panget's order of the Beef Terriyaki had a LOT of beef on it.  I was so sad. I hope that on my next visit - it won't be another ' My kawawang Beef Pepper Rice ' again.. Huhu..

I am a Serenitea loyalist and addict.  I have to admit that. But last Monday - while nearing Serenitea Banawe, I noticed that there were a LOT of cars.  This prompted me to drive away and go to nearby Funtea.  It was my first time there - I've been passing by it numerous time - but never got the chance to try it yet.  You see, I'm the type of person who likes going back to the same place and ordering the same thing - every time.  So making this trip - was a little hard for me.  Hahaha!! When I entered Funtea - I was greeted with smiling faces of the owners.  I immediately asked for their bestseller - and sure enough, it was their Milk Tea.  I ordered two large ones with pearls and my request was that there be no ice put in it.  I didn't mind that I wasn't asked for the sugar level and I love sweet things!  I remembered my recent trips to Hong Kong that my Panget and I would have Milk Tea every single day - it was because the Milk Tea places were everywhere - I mean,

It's another long weekend for us!!

Here's a look at the proclamation!! It's OFFICIALLY a HOLIDAY!! I dunno whether to rejoice or not.  Hahaha!!

Since getting pregnant, my taste buds have been wonky. There's this constant urge - to eat a chocolate cake!  And you know very well that - I do not like chocolates!  Hahaha.. My first attempt was futile - because I threw it all up. But the second attempt which was last Saturday with Mindy, was successful!  I got a slice of Polly's Brown Derby and it was fantastic!! :)  Yummmmmm...... I just received my prize last Saturday from Mindy - and when I got home, I immediately watched the last 11 episodes!  I love the humor of the show - I appreciate each and every one of the characters!  Sofia Vergara is hot and soooooo funny!!  Mindy was nice enough to share episodes of the current season - and last night, I saw the halloween episode.  I have to say, I was laughing so hard at this certain part of the show. It was about Gloria's accent. I couldn't stop laughing. Baby Cheeses  (Imagine this being said by Gloria) Look at what Jay has on his hands.. It was hilarious.  Ask my Panget how hard I was laughing.

Just like Mindy - I am scared SHIT of Zombies. My Panget has this fascination of the living dead.  He has sooooo many zombie movies on our Popcorn Hour.  Same question as Mindy - What's with men and Zombies? Anyhoo, I've been seeing glimpses of The Walking Dead on Fox.  I thought it was an old show - apparently, it's a new one!  And just before dinner, my Panget told me with a huge smile on his face 'I've downloaded The Walking Dead'.  This is what I have been dreading to hear.  Shit. And so... we watched. Man, was I covering my eyes most of the time.  Hahaha!!! But seriously, the show has promise.. I can't believe I just said that. Hahahaha!!
