Sunday Mass was presided by Fr. Bel San Luis.
I honestly did not know who he was until he uttered his name. I remember reading his column on Manila Bulletin.
Anyway, the Gospel reminds us that when we die - we're all on equal footing. No one is better and no one is less. We are our own person when we die and that is what is intended.
My take away was that we should love each other more, hug each other more, appreciate one another more because we don't know when our time will come. As they say, nothing is certain like death and taxes.
