I have been a fan of this series since I was little! I could still remember bits and pieces of the show! There was this certain epsiode where a mannequin was invilved and eventually the lead of that episode became a mannequin in the end as well. During my lastest visit to Metrowalk - I was able to find the Season 1 of the 2002's revival of the series. I was eagerly making pigil to get it, but what won was the fact that I loved the show and it was not super expensive. When I got home, I immediately watched a couple of episodes. And just last night - I was done watching all 43 episodes.. and what can I say - Rod Serling - I am kowtowing now - you are indeed beyond brilliant!

How I wish I can still find the 50's black & white episodes plus the 80's ones...

    Achie Candishh I also love the Twilight Zone. I've been watching this @ some TV network na wala na ata ngayon. It's so eerie noh? :)

#CookingQuest: Winter Melon Soup ala Didi #EnhancedCommunity

One of the things that gets ooohs and aaaahs in a chinese restaurant is the #WinterMelonSoup.   You may ask why?  Well because with this soup, restaurants use the winter melon itself as a huge bowl to serve the soup!  It's a sight to see as you'll be amazed how they were able to pull it off.  You'll see the whole winter melon, and then suddenly they're take out the top part and when you peek in, the soup is inside together with meat bits and other veggies!  My mom has tried it at home, and I remember her being nervous that the winter melon doesn't break apart, kunde sira ang presentation! So during this #EnhancedCommunityQuarantine, I chanced upon Theo's Farm that they have winter melon, so I ordered.  When I saw it - I knew I wouldn't be able to pull off the carving and serving the winter melon.  It actually made the preparation easier.  I had to ask my mom, and she told me to steam the winter melon to soften it.  Honestly, I don't t...

Shopping in Guam

While walking around K-Mart - I was asking myself - did I need anything? Nothing popped! Hahaha.. Until I realized - that I was in a US territory, meaning most American goods that I always ask my Panget's brother to buy MUST be here somewhere. Right there and then, things I wanted started to come of my head! I searched for the following items first: - Caladryl Clear - Creme Bleach - Carmex - Vick's Vapor Rub (Made in Mexico - my Aunt, specified this!) - Efferdent Denture Cleansers (my Aunt's) - Pepcid AC Maximum Strength - Lip Balms - DIY Highlights Kit - Pentel RSVP Pen Set - Secret Deodorant in Vanilla - And some other unique stuffs! Hahaha... So, did I get all of them? Hahaha! I did - except for the Carmex - apparently, the K-Mart Guam does not carry Carmex! Hmmm.. Strange, but what can I do right?
